Five Skulls Out Of Five
We got five skulls outta five! Yes! The new issue of American horror mag "Rue Morgue" said this about our new CD:
"Zombina and the Skeletones - Out of the Crypt and Into Your Heart (Fiendforce)
Zombina and the Skeletones are cooler than the Blair Witch's tits. There, I said it. Their latest collection is electrified party punk for ghouls with ADD - nine of the thirteen cuts clock in at under two and a half minutes!
Bursting with irresistible sugary vocals and punky guitars, Zombina's catchy tunes are about things such as robot lust ("Love Droid") and mad science run amok ("Evil Science"). Also, dig the balls-out thunder of "Raised In Hell", a cabaret tribute to "Vincent Price" (complete with violin and evil xylophone) and "Puke It Up", which fuses a synth-y Rick Ocasek sound with a catchy doo-wop chorus and might, in fact, be the most romantic song about vomit ever written. If you dig fun, upbeat horror with a twist of terror, Out of the Crypt... will worm it's way into your rotten heart faster than a chest cavity full of starving maggots. Mmmm, maggots. TD 5/5"
Why, we were so proud, that we even scanned it in. Click here to see that shit.
