USELESS REUNION 2009
The Zanzibar Club, Seel St. Liverpool, Friday the 18th September - USELESS RETURNS AGAIN!!!
For the anyone who's new to it,
USELESS is the old club night we used to run back in the day. We really enjoyed doing it, so every now and then we decide to resurrect the night... this time it's going to be an extra special form of USELESS as we're teaming up with the NO EXCUSES dubstep/hip-hop/chaos night to bring you... USELESS EXCUSES!!! When worlds collide!!!
Live bands will include -
ZOMBINA AND THE SKELETONES (flying saucers rock & roll)
THE BRUTES (scotch on the garage rocks)
EL TORO (psychedelic death-surf)
BARBEROS (nightmares in spandex)
THE DICK LIMERICK ACADEMY (fear of a scouse planet)
...add to that the USELESS DJs playing unusual rock n' rule and outsider trash, the cross dressing charms of guest compare KURT DIRT and additional surprises after midnight, courtesy of NO EXCUSES... and there you have it, a fine way to spend your Friday the 18th of September.
Doors will open at 8:00, admission costs £3...
Both USELESS and NO EXCUSES will take place simultaneously, with USELESS controlling the stage, and NO EXCUSES partying in the attic - until 1am, when we will exchange places, and the stage will no doubt become home to all manner of bass-heavy electronic craziness.
You have NO EXCUSE not to attend.
